I had been stealing the blinds a little bit more than usual and the BB seemed fishy and had defended a little to much and usually check called the flop bet regardless.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif.
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls.

I had no idea what to make of the bet out on the flop, and called because i thought my 9 or 8 could be good 75% of the time. I clearly didn't even think ahead to the turn action. Looking back, without a backdoor flush draw I can probably fold. Does anyone raise this flop?

Flop: (4.40 SB) 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Miracle card comes and I braincramp and value call my nuts. At this point Im about 90% sure he has a king which makes the flat call even worse.

Turn: (3.20 BB) 7/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (5.20 BB) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, BB calls.

Final Pot: 9.20 BB

I am most interested in the flop action. Any thoughts are appreciated though.

I raise the flop for a free card. Given the read, it's more than likely.

I'd just call. I think you get 3bet way too often to make a raise correct here.

He said the guy was fishy which leads me to beleive he will call a raise and check/call the turn.

If he is willing to 3-bet I take back my post.

Yeah, he didn't give a detailed read, but even fishy players in this game like to bet-3bet the flop.
