New to Pokertracker

I just got my hands on Pokertracker and am feeling a little overwhelmed. Could somebody throw out some numbers that are considered TAG & LAG? Thanks.

Make sure to get Game Time+ so you can overlay the stats on the table.

The stats I display are VPIP, PFR, PF Agg., W$SD, and most importantly - # of HANDS PLAYED.

I don't really use the auto rate system, or label players. I usually glance at their numbers as the enter the pot, esp. when they raise, and try to put them on a range of hands.

One thing I would watch out for though. You get used to looking at the stats, and if your not careful, you may realize too late that you don't have enought hands played fot the stats to have any meaning. Then you can get caught making horrible assumptions. It probably doesn't happen to anyone here, but I'll bet many know someone who does this...

Mostly though, I use PT to examine my own play, and hunt down and kill any leaks I find.

For small stake NL holdem you shouldn't get too hung up on whether someone has a Vp$iP of 18% with a PFR of 4% or a Vp$IP of 27% with a PFR of 8%...

Short of ridiculously tight (<15%) or loose (45%+) play or maniacal levels of PFR (15%+) (or say 3% or less when it's too easy to put you on a hand wehn you raise)what matters for win rates is mostly the post-flop play.
