Tonight's show is scheduled to be their usual 30/60 limit game. The play was full of action with 5-6 people seeing the flop seemingly every hand for multiple bets. The schedule for the rest of their week, according to their site, is for 100 NL Thursday, 500 NL Friday (although there was talk it would be 1000 NL), then 200 NL Saturday night (with special guest Russ McGinley). With Shirley away at some other card room tonight, expect at least 3 of the 4 usual commentators (Bart, Tuch, Jana and Jennifer) on the show.

I exchanged e-mails with one of The Bike's administrators and she said they were going to try to get me on for an interview Friday or Saturday night. So look out for that as well.

Haha, didn't think I would get to watch much tonight due to playing in the Quadruple shootout, but KK busted on the third hand and I have plenty of time, hehe.

Okay, Russ if you insist on going through with it, you're going to need a script writer. I can help.

Blah blah blah blah implied odds blah blah blah blah blah absolutely blah blah blah I'm not a big fan of slow-playing trips blah blah blah blah blah blah Look at that! blah blah blah exactly blah blah blah blah I like the play blah blah I'm not a big fan of slow-playing quads blah blah blah Wow, look at that! blah blah blah Let's see how he plays it blah blah blah Oh wow, look at that.

Remember, the main thing is to keep talking all the time. If you allow anything said at the table to be heard, you have failed. Just keep explaining your concept of strategy and never fail to criticize every play, whether condemning it or praising it with "I like the play." Your motto shall be: "Actually, less is less."

Hope this helps.

For some reason on my machine the video just stays on the starting Live at the bike screen. (And yes, the play button is pushed). Anyone ever experience this?

Almost forgot. You will need to work on your "California A's." No, not the baseball team, the pronunciation. For example, "maybe" is pronounced "meebee."

They told me they can't let me in the booth for security reasons so I don't think I'll be able to take any of your suggestions. I will try though to just blurt out "I really hate slowplaying here" regardless of the situation.

Security reasons?

Have Denny give you a pat down and you should be fine.

Hahahahahaha. That's funny. Security, as in, you may go out to the table and tell one of the players, "Get up from the table. NOW!"

Kevin, this thread is no place for your sick fantasies.

I presume they mean Russ might take a wire in there and signal one of the players at the table.

Ahahaha. The noodle-guy tried to get cute (read: braindead) with his kings limping in preflop then just calling on the flop and turn....allowing his opponent to hit his gutshot straight. Poetic justice. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Excellent. Works like a charm. Thanks

I was a little worried for a bit. The 30-60 is my favorite, too bad it's on wednesdays and it runs to 1amon the east coast

hey does anybody know what this "on demand" business the guy was just talking about is all about?

He said something about signing up for the archives for 15 bucks, but I can't find a link to it on thebike.com

are they downloadable too or just streaming?

Just streaming, I believe. I wonder if its' possible to shuttle back and forth, do slo-mo, etc.

Kevmath
05-18-2005, 09:49 PM
It's streaming only, and I don't think you can skip ahead in the show and there's definitely no slo-mo.

Nice play by BillBill.

Check-call all the way with bottom pair no kicker then fold on the river when you think everybody's on a flush draw and it doesn't hit.

Grace looks hawt in those shades. So does 7 seat. 4 seat is a turd.

Kevmath
05-18-2005, 11:27 PM
Seat 4 needs to stop playing J-x, he lost a huge pot with J-7, flopped trips, J on the turn, he and the 1 seat went about 6 bets on the turn, river was a blank. Other guy of course has JJ to drag down the pot.

the table talk is pretty good -- winning with 69 (reference sex position) by both ladies in the house

btw, has any1 gotten a good look at seat 8? She looks promising (vikkie)

I think seat 4's tie is too tight. I hate it when pocket aces crack my K9o!

Kevmath

Seat 4 certainly is no Rick Nebiolo, he's definitely the best L@TB player who's able to play while wearing a tie.

Is this really a 30/60 table? It's really unbelievable for me. I've seen seat 1 play before, and he's horrible. Is he a "pro"? I started laughing when I first watched this show, but week after week it amazes me how unintelligent people can be with this amount of money. But at least this thread is always entertaining.

Russ McGinley
05-19-2005, 12:29 AM
Yes, and I share your sentiments. Before this show, I thought a game like 30/60 would feature a lot of solid players who did not have sufficient bankrolls for the high games. Now I see that these guys are just the same donks that you find at any 1/2 game except they have more money to piss away.

avesterl
05-19-2005, 12:30 AM
He's in seat 8 now, but i think seat one is the second best player at the table.

Yeah, that was a skillful open-muck.
