Breif history, I'm a SS LHE player, lately intrigued by MTT's. I started playing poker at poker school a few years back and played only tourney's there, so I'm not exactly green, but I'm not exactly good either. That said I've played about 20 tournaments in the last year and managed to wwin 3 of em fro about a $3k profit. Started playing on stars again a few weeks ago.

The last Stars tourney I played was a $20+2 and both of these hands come from the first table, first levels. I'm not sure if I played them as prescribed, if they're obvious, whatever. Sorry if I'm clogging up the boards with the painfully obvious:

This first one is from memory:

you just happened to 'remember' all of your opponents' chip-stacks??

your hands look reasonable to me.

what elements of your play are you questioning? these look very standard to me.

The pre-flop raise in Hand 1, too big? There's 240 in the pot and I want to clear the field. But, I also only have 1470 in chips, so 350 is a good portion of my stack.
