Party $11...
Was I too passive here? Should I have raised the river?

[/ QUOTE ]Yes. A lot. If villain is drawing to a bigger four-flush (which is often the case) you have to make it very costly to do so.

The drawback here is that you are beaten by a bigger flush already but unless he has the nuts (Ace or in this board's case the K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif with any other /images/graemlins/diamond.gif), you can possibly get him to fold a better flush to a raise anyway because he's scared of the bigger flush like you are. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

You made your hand. If you won't play it hard once you made it, villain can catch up. If you're so concerned that villain made his too then don't play suited connectors and fold them on any flop that isn't a boar or straight flush because that doubt will always be there for the flushes and connectors aren't valuable enough to play them just for straights or other oddities like two pairs and trips. Otherwise people would play unsuited connectors, and they usually don't.

Raise the turn to about 250.

Anyone lead the flop for 30-50?
