Its a regular party table. Kinda loose and kinda passive.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls, 3 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (6 SB) 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Standard to call here on the flop?

I fold the flop. You have bottom pair on a coordinated board. Your two pair outs are suspect -- the K makes a better two pair or straight likely, and any /images/graemlins/diamond.gif puts 3 to a flush on board -- and you have no backdoor draws. Even if you hit, you might not be good. Next hand.

I fold preflop, and then I fold again on the flop.

With 6 to the flop raising with bottom pair is out of the question imho.

I give you about 4 outs as the K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif is dirty and it also could complete a straight (or at the very least give someone with a Q or a T a redraw against you. With 4 outs you need about 11:1 and you are getting about 8:1. However you don't know that it won't be raised behind you (or if everyone will stick around) or if your 2 pair will even be good. So I'd fold here.

K9s is fine to play here with 2 limpers already in a loose passive game.

The preflop call is fine under the table conditions described, as long as hero can get away from a marginal holding (like this one) postflop.

You can call this preflop, but I wouldn't. You have to fold this flop. You have to figure you're drawing to 2 outs with the two 9s because the K is going to probably hurt more than it helps.

Limp is good preflop under these table conditions.

Fold is automatic on flop.

I looked at the flop and thought, "hmmm... I've got two good outs and three tainted ones. But, even those tainted outs give me redraws to fill up if they don't win me the pot. I'm a little short here, but I'm dumping on the turn unimproved. Are the implied odds high enough to continue?"

At that point, my head exploded and my wife had to bring screen wipes to clean up the mess.

I think it's an easy fold on the flop. Bunch of people behind you, and even if you hit your K you can lose a lot of money here.

Even I would fold this flop and I call with ANYTHING. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
