The mirror like axe is 4,500 years old.
That is messed up.
Isn't it possible that water smoothed it out over the last 4,500 years?

If you're interested in ancient Chinese technology, there's a series of books by Joseph Needham called (something like) Science and Civilization in China. They are worth checking out. Different vols. cover different fields.
