Alright, so as an excercise in diversity, I challenge you to name who you think is the best artist/group in the genre of music you like the least. Example, if you hate country music, who do you think is the best country music singer.

I hate country music so much, that I couldnt even name who I think the best is, because I hardly know any names and wont listen to it for longer than 3 seconds.

I don't care much for rap/hip-hop but I think Andre 3000 is pretty much Jesus.

I don't like country music, but I do enjoy Faith Hill.

I can't stand pop music, but Christina Aguilera (sp?) has a dynamite voice...even though she looks like a skank.

I immediately thought of Garth Brooks when I saw this thread. Since country is the only kind of music I don't really like, that's all I have to offer.

Good question Buster...

I could go the country route because it is something I don't listen to, but I do really like Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw.

Hm, maybe Avril Lavigne because I hate that genre but always think her songs are catchy/pleasant to listen to.

I hate rap and hip hop, but I don't know a single rap song so I really can't answer this.

I'm with you on Avril Lavigne, but for rap, I'll go with Eminem. I think country has to be Garth Brooks.

I don't much care for reggae, but I dig some Marley. Though he's almost a genre unto himself.

You really must take her for what she is worth. She is a pop artist who sings well and the tunes are catchy. If you are listening to her, you shouldn't be expecting anything more than that.

Because there aren't that many that do. Off the top of my head for females I can think of Christina Aguilera (at times), Clarkson, and that's it. I don't really follow pop, but I recognized her name on the iTunes at my house, gave it a listen and liked it. I have a very small sampling though. Only like 5 songs.

A lot of people who are saying country aren't even listing real country singers. Country-pop doesn't count.

That said, every genre of music I've listened to so far I've enjoyed, so I don't have much else to add. If someone hooks me up with something awful I'll let you know who the least awful is.

That's because real country is bad. Someone introduced my dad to it, and he hasn't stopped listening to that Brooks and Dunn crap. I hate that person.

Hank Williams Sr. is good
Hank Williams Jr. is better
Hank Williams III should never be allowed on a stage
