Pocket queens in the blinds

You have pocket queens in the big or small blind with 4 limpers to you playing 9 or 10 handed. Call/check or raise and if so how much?

I know this is a simple answer, but this is one of those easy ones I've never really known the answer to.

how much you raise depends highly on game condition and stack sizes... not raising is seriously pathetic.
