Ok, I've filmed myself with a couple of girls before. One I just left the camera on the desk. That was pointless cause I really couldn't see much when I watched it later. Another time I held the camera, which turned out better but not great.

thank you jake. i knew i could count on you for the manliest answer in the thread. this is obviously the correct answer but she has no friends around here (we just moved). if i were somewhere else this wouldn't be a problem.

i'm looking more for like positions and stuff once the camera is on the tripod.

Lighting is key. Candlelight makes it look grainy. Halogens would be best but aren't very practical. Just make sure it's well lit and try to minimize shadows.

unless you have someone who will film for you (which prolly wouldnt be that good as Im sure theyd film it crappy), get a tripod. Make sure the room is well lit, and for gods sake dont block the camera from the goods while you are pounding away at her. Remember, later on you watch this you are going to want to be seeing her, not your pasty white ass. Always be aware of the camera angle while you are getting it on.

Also don't look at the camera while you are doing her, thats just a rookie move.
