Where to start?

Have looked through this board and cant find a post about starting MTTs. What is the best way to learn them? I would like a break from ring games occasionally and also build up empire points /images/graemlins/smile.gif

What are some good tournies to enter? Have just started the party $5+1 1.5k gaurenteed with a free $10 I got but would freerolls or other better value tournies (are there any?) be better?

Also, any advice on strategies for NL tournies. I play micro limit ring clearing bonuses (0.5/1)

I would recomend starting off with a few single Table Tournaments. UB has some cheap ones, wher ethe stacks are deep, so there is a good amount of play. Also, pick up Dan Harrington's book.
While you are getting the hang of the SNGs and reading the book, just keep reading this forum.
