$100 SNG. Level 1. I have 975 and limp UTG with 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif6/images/graemlins/heart.gif. CO limps. SB completes. BB checks.
Flop: 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif
SB bets 100, BB folds, I raise to 300, CO folds, SB calls.
Turn: 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, I check.
River: J/images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB moves AI for 840. I have 640 left and fold.
Thoughts?

Tough position, but your play looks fine to me.
Nice of him to let you see the turn and river so cheap.

Clearly the other guy is (A) a fool or (B) took me for a fool and then tried to trap me on the river.
Under (A) he could have str, 98o, a small flush, one-pair, nada.
Under (B) he could have a str or a flush (like A7s).
It's early and I don't have any notes on this joker.

Anyone like smooth-calling the flop and playing the turn?

What if he's a decent player, and since you had a made hand on the flop, you gotta be scared of the straight. I think you're folding the best hand at least 50% of the time here.
I'd bet the turn. The nine is a decent card for you, unless he already had the straight. Only bad thing is that you wont get more money from him.

i think a little value on the flop isn't bad, but after that all the money goes in on the turn. If it was me I probably would have moved in on the flop, but the turn is cool. Be yeah checking on the turn is a disaster i think.

I wonder if going all-in on the flop would've folded the SB? I think at the lower levels, any fish would've called due to the draw, but at the 100s? I wonder....
