If anybody is into good old fashioned rock and roll, check these guys out. very simple rockin stuff. totally fun, and the songs have this indescribable feeling that just carries you away. their latest album 'White Blood Cells' is getting quite popular (they have godd radio play and MTV2 rotation...) i like this album quite a bit. then a friend burned me their 2nd album 'Destijl' on the same disc as their live BBC sessions. WOW!! amazing stuff.
i would describe their sound like this:
imagine if r.l. burnside and chris whitley went to an MC5 concert and urge overkill opened up, then they listened to a whole bunch of zeppelin on the way to the studio to record an album...
anyway, if you guys like good simple bluesy kinda-sloppy-in-a-good-raw-way music, check them out. sorry, i don't have any links.
