Why not start naming and shaming the fish.. Instead of posting badbeat stories, just put the fish on the leaderboard. For example, next time your on level 1 on the 50+5 level and you're dealt AA and some fish calls your re-raise of 125 with KTs and they bust your aces put them in the leaderboard. I know it will be of little use but it would be good for a laugh though, and get rid of a bit of frustration?

I think it's a bad idea. Just another way of tapping the glass.

Actually, no point in encouraging them to play better... and just realised that this may look like a thinly disguised bad beat post as well.

It's shorthand for doing anything to annoy/incite/berate/teach the inhabitants of the aquarium. (Understand, almost all of us would be fish in some game.)

We could also start a Whine Leaderboard and list the sharks that choked to death on some juicy marlin.

I agree. If people can't understand why this is so important than they should consider if they are the fish. I have more respect for the guy who makes the crazy play than the one who berates him for it.

Winning poker players should view the fish as their customers. They are there to be entertained, and they pay you for the privelege.

What business would berate, shame, and ridicule its best customers? The OP makes no sense.

I used to type F YOU! All the time, lol. I feel so much better not getting angry.

You have to tell yourself. BAD PLAYERS MAKE YOU THE MONEY!

This is the dumbest idea ever. If you can't say good play, or nice hand, turn your chat off and don't say anything at all.

I just last night had to restrain myself for questioning on of the worst calls I've ever seen by a "fish." I was not involved in the hand, but was nonetheless flabergasted.

Board: TQQT6
River bet: All In (550 into 900 pot)
Caller: 33

It took every fiber in my being to not say: "You do realize that the only way you chop this hand is if the other guy has no card bigger than a 6."

I decided to say nothing and allow him to continue pouring his suckout chips back into the pots.

They make bad calls and suck out, but they also make worse calls when there is no chance to win. That helps us win. We like winning.

Don't drive the thrillseekers away.
