I'd love to see a low limit player (preferably me) from this forum win it.

$10+1 on stars, 6-max tourney.

Win four in a row and you're in the WSOP.

This setup is genius from Pokerstars. A pyramid scheme everyone enjoys.

and you can use W$ too, so you can get in for as little as $2 in theory.

we should get all of us to play in 4 in a row. and then let someone win four in a row, lol. ship it to wsop.

sike that won't work, but i'm kind of tempted to burn some $ on the PS setup

I'd seen somebody mention this in the MTT forum and wasn't going to sign up, but now you've sold me on it.

What I'd like to avoid is something like winning the first two shootouts and then coming in 2nd in the 3rd, or something like that. I figure there will probably be a little room for dealing at the end of the final one.

this is some cool assed crap. if only they ran it (and their other shootouts) in a sng format, instead of just running them as scheduled tournaments...

good luck lorinda, and any others who decide to play, i can't do it tonight, but might try some other time soon.

There appears to be about $2k extra money floating around after the $11k package, so I'm guessing (and it's a total guess) that there will be some okay prizes for the final and probably $11 back for the last 36.

can someone send me $10+1 on PS? I want to play, I can mail a check or something?

I'm kind of happy that I'm not even close to 21, since I'm not eligible to play the WSOP, I would probably obsess about getting into it and make some -EV wagers in attempts to make it. That said I'm also happy about being under 21 for other reasons... life is good.

I'm in, thanks for the reminder Lorinda /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good luck.

The existence of this tournament *almost* has me putting money on Stars. I'm about 90% of the way there. (No, it wouldn't do it on it's own, but there are already several reasons I prefer Stars to PokerRoom - the only thing holding me back is that I don't like 9 person SnGs).

Well that wasn't much fun.

Table rock calls a raise with 33 and outflops my JJ then the table moron raises vs my 77 so i stick in my last few chips and he has kings.

GL everyone, I'll start sweating round 2 most likely.

I was watching your table Lorinda... I wouldn't exactly call him a Rock since he was playing every single hand... /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I guess it is possible that he had kings every other time he raised too, but it was highly unlikely.

Well, that wasn't much fun for me either. My starting hands were attrocious the entire time. Pretty much folded my way to HU, but by that point I was outchipped 7:1 and it didn't take long to get caught with K6s by his KQo and it's over.

If they keep running these, I'll keep playing 'em. Helps me fight the urge to blow my whole load at PS on double shootouts /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I'll be playing some low limit HU matches the next few days.

Folding to a 2-1 or 3-1 HU disadvantage, and then trying to outplay people doesn't seem a terrible tactic.
