It's my favorite movie. Ever. Girls generally don't seem to like it as much as guys, for whatever reason, although there are exceptions.

you have no idea how disappointed i was that this wasnt a post about how you were going to be coming to the 2+2 magoo-bonanza next month. I know things have been rocky for us lately, but that doesnt change the way i feel...oh well...back to the sad sad world of sobriety.

ps. the roses are doing great. I am choosing to believe that this is primarily because i have never even touched them. So if by "rose gardening", you mean "occasionally remembering that i have things growing on the side of my house and looking at them," the rose gardening is going great! Pics coming soon im sure.

the plot is somewhat disjointed, in that it kind of follows 3 stories, and it's somewhat out of order...I thought it was cool, but some ppl might find it disorienting.

also if you're not into the darker genre of action film you might not like it

but the cinematography is amazing and some of the inner monologue stuff is really cool

I personally loved it, your mileage may vary

I gave it a 7 out of 10 and my gf gave it a 6. I really liked the Mickey Rourke scenes. I thought the Bruce Willis ones were so so.

If you want to see a graphic novel put on a screen, then see it. It's incredible.

If you're looking for a great story or a typical movie, then it's merely OK.

Man, those pills can really get on top of you, eh? Better just sip some tea until the dragons go back into the cave.

Well I went to see it and was quite meh. Pretty to look at but not much there. It reminded me of Kill Bill 1 - like watching an interesting screen saver for 2 hours. Apologies to all the devotees and drunks out there.

Rather oddly, for those that know me, I have never been to Vegas. Part of this is a fear that if I do I won't leave.

Glad to hear the roses are doing well. I've had mine dug up and am replacing them with a lawn for sunbathing and BBQ purposes.
