OK, a male friend of mine has been planning and building his house for about a year. He is a single guy, early thirties, and needless to say this is a dream of his that he has finished. He is having a housewarming party this weekend. I have bought housewarming presents for married couples before, but never for a single guy. What does OOT suggest? Looking to spend around $50.

$50 Home Depot gift card
if you want to put some actual thought into it, maybe some stuff most bachelors don't usually have, ie art work, a cool vase, or somethign along those lines.
If it were me, I'd be giving the $50 home depot card.

Poker chips cost about that for a 500 chip set in a nice box. A bottle of scotch comes to mind if he is a drinker.

The bar area of Bed Bath and Beyond is a good place to start.
