my dillemna here. It looks like this guy missed his flush draw and is upset about it which would warrant a call. but 40$ into a 38$ pot means I'd have to be right a third of the time. And if he has anything other than a missed draw he certainly has KK beat (outside chance of AQ).

Personaly i would have called him. If he is LA like u say i think he would be attempting to buy the pot on a missed flush draw. He could also have suited AQ then he would have nothing but top pair but u have over pair... I think u just need alil more gamble man. Because I think u could have had an easy 40 bucks there.

just call his turn bet to keep the pot small. then you can call a reasonable bet on the river.

It does look a lot like a missed flushdraw, especially since what you said about this player being very lose.
Though I dont think I would risk it either.
You could probably pick a much better spot to take this guy´s money. Good fold, IMHO.

I think you are right to call half the time, so it is a money making good time.

That's tough... maybe A-Qc or Q-10c, maybe K-J. maybe no clubs at all, maybe he was slow rolling a set of Qs or 9s. Anyways I think this is a good fold.
