Im proud to say this past weekend i was able to hit my first true one outter. I was in a 18 player tourney and with 7 people left top 3 pay. Blinds where up to 400 800 and i was short stack with about 1000 left in chips i have 3c 3d i think for a min and say screw it im all in. everyone folds to the small blind who calls but then the BB goes all in so SB folds. we flip the cards and he has 7h 7c. The flop comes 8c Jh Ah i start to get up out of my seat at this point. The turn is a 4h now im down to the 3s since the other 3h gives him the flush and God dam doesnt that 3s hit on the river the place went nuts. I ended up finishing second and won 150$ I went all in with AKs and the other guy had AA. But this is the first time i can think of that i knew there was only 1 card left that i could win with.

why did you even hesitate to go all-in with a pair?

Because i saw the way the BB looked when he saw his cards i could tell he must of had a pair.

If this is true then I think going all in was a bad move with the threes.
