This hand was played horrible by me, please let me know what you would do diferently. I find that I have trouble playing AK in heads up situations against an aggressor. Looking at this hand I realize that there isn't a hand that I can beat and only one that I tie. Villian just sat down so I only have eight hands with him.

Cap this preflop. Stop being so scared, AA, KK, AK are not the only capping hands out there.

I'd go for a check-raise on the flop, peeling a 3-bet.

The rest is fine.

ya it has been a long bad session so I might be a little gun shy. I did play it a little to passively.

preflop: I usually cap. The hand will play differently if capped

flop: your just asking to get punished here. Why lead this flop?

Turn: easy call

River: This is really going to be player dependent. My normal line is going to be bet and fold to a raise assuming that the player is reasonable, but like I said a read is essential.

I like the check-call because we can induce a bluff out of a losing hand, while betting and getting raised would be really shitty.

I agree about the check-raise on the flop. He took the initiative before the flop by his raise. If you don't cap it , then let him take the lead and exploit it.

Since 2/4 is filled with the passives by checking I beleive your missing a great opportunity to bet the river for value, since a lot of weaker hands will just check behind to an overcard that puts a three flush on the board. However I would like to here some other opinions about this.

This is the second hand where I've seen the Hero not cap AKo heads up OOP. Barring a specific read that the player is a mega rock, why am I seeing this? I cap here everytime and lead most flops. Am I spewing?

sometimes capping HU w/AKo isn't a bad idea. I don't know if this is one of those times. I don't like your leading out on the flop. I think that this should just be a pure calldown. To me its as much for info as anything else. I'd want to see what he's doing his threebetting with so I'd know how to play him from there on.

HU, I normally would cap PF here, but I'd like to know specifically as to why I would
