Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (3 BB) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB folds.

River: (5 BB) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero ...

A middle pair is a possibility... I'm not so sure he will fold.

3 flush on the river, the villain would never believe I have that, and hence won't be afraid of anything but a higher pair. I think the villain will call if he has a pair unless he thinks I have an A.

pretty much any pair is calling you here. that board is just too likely to have connected with him in some way.

The flop check\turn call is what is confusing me here.

The flop check in this situation tend to mean one of 2 things:

1. my hand is huge (AA, QQ, AQ)
2. I missed totally on my steal, and dont think a bluff is +EV vs 2 opponents on that board

Then... he just calls the turn, on a now 3 straight board. This tends to not be done with AA/QQ/AQ.

This is why, I think raised with a junk hand, and the T improved him (to either a pair of tens, or a straight draw) a lot of the time.

i think it's more likely that he has some kind of pair that is afraid of the Ace but not afraid enough to call down.

JT and QJ come to mind

TJ I can see, but I think an unknown with QJ bets that flop a hell of a lot of the time at 2/4.

fold preflop getting 6 to 1 on a call closing the action is weak. If SB folds then it becomes raise or fold IMO

That was not a flame, that was fact. Reread your own thread, perhaps you will see that everyone there including me was trying to help you, but your smug attitude and horrible play turned us off.
