The river didn't scare me I just didn't want to get raised on the river, call the raise and then get 3 bet straight.

Yeah I think this is a fine line. Looks like the poster is on the spades or has a 6 but when he calls the river I would think he has a weaker A. You are probably good here all the way. NH.

This cap is for value.

EDIT: also... since he didnt voluntarily put the first bet in, this is perhaps the most likely situation in which he would fold for 2 more.

if he folds you really don't mind. if he calls, it's even better for you because you probably have the best hand.
