I'm 2 tabling the 5/10's right now pretty much 30-35hrs a week what kind of bankroll should I have for this level to be safe... I dont want to have to reload so I want almost a zero% chance of ruin here... I was think 350-400BB is that safe enough?

assuming you're a winning player should be fine.

Yes, if you play well postflop.

I'd have 1000. What happens when you hit a 200BB downturn? I think you'll be playing scared, and that is bad news IMO.

I am playing at 200bb down.
It is insane. 27 cracks AA and nothing wins. Forget hitting draws.

I usually like to play atleast w/ 500BB's that way i feel alot more safe.
anything over 300 is more than enough

It depends if you're a man or not, pokerbob.

From my point a view, a 300-350BB has never been a problem. And i've hit some downswings.... but never a 200BB one yet /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I think many here would be suprised at the level you need to have less than a 1% ROR.
Then here is something else to consider. Say you have 400BB, let's say you hit a 150BB losing streak. Which in 5/10 full would not be out of line. ....
So now you are down to 250BB or $2500. You have it in the back of your head that $1800 is 300BB for 3/6... and damn it you don't want to have to move all the way down to 2/4....think you will still be playing your best game?

If you have some of your stats
BR = -(StandradDeviation^2/2*win rate)ln(risk of ruin)
put .01 in or something if you want a 1% risk of ruin (going broke). Or .05 if you want a 5% chance of going broke..
of course this wont be entirely accurate unless you have a large sample size but it should serve as a good rule of thumb
