more than the raise, i believe all-in PF would have been appropriate. the absence of a raiser before you, it's likely you'll take down a VERY nice pot. even with a call, you stand to be the favorite.

post flop? not much you can do here. HASK1960 was obviously willing to risk it all on his nut flush draw. one thing to consider is raising on the flop, pushing on the turn. if you are up against a drawer, he/she might have a harder time calling for all with only one card to come. but with your chip stack and the blinds at that level, all-in after the flop was your last chance to 'fix' the PF problem.

Where did you mess up? I disagree that failing to raise preflop was a mistake. I generally think it's better to see a flop cheap with tens, hopefully flop a set, but an overpair will usually do. With your stack size though, you could raise, but it would have to be a push. I still see the flop free here.

The flop is fine. Flush and possible straight draw out, so you decide if your hand is good and raise to push out draws - which has to be an all-in given the pot size - or fold because you think you're beat. I push here.

Don't be results oriented.

Push pre-flop. There's already 450 chips out there, that's almost 50% of your stack. You can't play for a set/undercards here.

I like this. This is a very common spot for me to be in. I play very tight until Level 4 so I find myself in this spot often. 5 players left with me about 3rd or 4th in chips. Given my tight reputation at the table I think an all in raise pre flop gets me the pot outright. It definetly would have gotten rid of the guy with A/5 suited

Keep in mind that I was first to act on the flop and I checked. I now think this was my biggest mistake. Everyone came in with the minimum bet behind me after I checked. I then go all in on my turn to bet. I think this screamed out a bluff of some kind.

Pushing here isn't bad by any means. Saying it definitely would have gotten rid of the guy with A5s is. You want that hand calling you.

Yes, you should have bet the flop. Since you checked, you should have check-raised all in. What's wrong with your turn bet "screaming" bluff? You very likely have the best hand - why wouldn't you want people to think you're bluffing?

Again, don't look at the results. All of your posts have suggested that you think you did something wrong here because you lost, and that's flawed thinking.
