I like my PF strategy; however, I still ponder this.

Your MP3 with a small pp, we'll make it 44. Folded to MP2 whose about 45% VPIP passive fish who calls.

Now what?

I hate folding this, I think calling sucks, raising seems like insanity though (although I've done it with ducks before /images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Would your decision be based on the players behind you? Loose and passive behind call?

Fold. I believe that calling and raising here are both -EV.

So....what's the magic # and mix for the raise, cuz I'll raise 77 here like 95% of the time.

What about 66? 55?

66 or above.

55 or lower fold.

I insta-raise 77. I limp 66 depending on the people behind me. I fold 55.

Reads on the players behind you are really important here. I'll raise 44 and maybe even 33 here if I think I can get it heads-up with the fish the majority of time.

I would almost never limp here as you'll often be seeing the flop 3 handed without the odds to flop a set. Taking the pot down unimproved if also hard because you wont have anywhere near the same folding equity had you raised preflop and you may not have position.

If they are loose and passive, then limping is standard IMO. IF they are tight, I'm raising that mofo.

I am looking at PF aggression on this one. If the players behind are unlikely to raise, I am limping.

For me to raise this, I would need to be pretty sure that 1) The isolation raise would actually work. 2)I could see a four card flop or I had a good chance of winning with a flop bet.
