PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Hero (t1500)
Button (t1490)
SB (t1440)
BB (t1570)
UTG (t1500)
UTG+1 (t1500)
MP1 (t1500)
MP2 (t1500)
MP3 (t1500)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
3 folds, MP2 calls t20, 1 fold, Hero raises to t80, Button calls t80, SB calls t70, 1 fold, MP2 calls t60.

Flop: (t340) A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets t300, Button calls t300, SB calls t300, MP2 raises to t1420, Hero calls t1120 (All-In), Button calls t1110 (All-In), SB calls t1060 (All-In).

Turn: (t5950) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players, 3 all-in)

River: (t5950) 3/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players, 3 all-in)

Final Pot: t5950

With two calls of my almost pot sized bet and an all-in I was sure at least one of them had an ace-rag to make two pair or flopped a set. I'm shocked I won this and felt like it was a bad call. Thoughts? Typically I don't like risking all of my chips at the beginning of the tourny.

Hello and welcome (new myself, not sure if I'm qualified to officially 'welcome' anybody /images/graemlins/wink.gif ),

I'm glad it worked out for you, but I would have let it go.

With MP2's all-in, I also would put him on A-rag (or even 56)...lucking into 2 pair. Equally troubling are both Button & SB's call of your original pot bet (Drawing no doubt. Maybe Button is the one holding A-rag?).

- Button & SB are still to act after you
- Early level
- You can almost bank on Button and/or SB saying "what the heck, double/tripple-up early or go home".

Too many hands in the pot. You 'only' have 1 pair. I fold.

Personally, I've been overbetting PF w/ AK.... 6-8xBB. Tooooo many fishes in the sea will want to see the early flops 'for cheap'. Especially after a few limpers have already crawled in. If I get reraised, I have no problem letting it rip. Accepting that it might be a coin-toss, but fully expecting to see AQ or the like.

most of the time one guy will have a draw.. one guy maybe two pair.. and another guy set... its an easy fold for me..

I would call. Also you already said this was a $5 buyin, but maybe edited it out?

Yeah I must have removed the $5 27 person table set up part when I edited the post. It seems the 3 table tourney's tend to be more loose than the STT.
