D'oh. I read it, and now I feel bad. /images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm running -6% ROI over my last ~100. *sigh*

Nice numbers though.

NICE!

Can rank the reason for the wins in order of frequency:
1) getting the cards
2) opponents suck
3) winning coin flips + your better hand holding
4) sucking out
5) you outplayed them

great, that inspired me to move up( actually I was bored and needed a thrill only the 55s could give me). Also I enjoyed reading your table coach article and Im looking forward to next month edition.

Great. I just played my first 177 $55. Not near as good as yours, but I'm still very happy with them:

1st: 24 (13.6%)
2nd: 25 (14.1%)
3rd: 19 (10.2%)
4th: 19
5th: 29
6th: 24
7th: 18
8th: 13
9th: 6
10th: 1

+$1,850
37.9% ITM
18.6% ROI
4.45 Average finishing position.

Let's compare numbers when we hit 500.

Thanks for all the kind words.

My main motivation for posting this is that when the inevitable -10% in 100 comes, I don't want to be posting "wah wah wah wah", and I'm sure if I do now, someone will merrily bump this to shut me up, which of course means I can't whine /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think 18.6% over my next 400 would be more than adequate /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I saw you playing them the other day. Very, very nice. I'm at the other end. I just got into the black since coming back from limit, 240 tourneys, +$26, including a 38 buyin downturn (a record for me). I now have 2200 $55's at 15% ROI. So, my point in all this is when that nasty time does come, just stick with it. You can beat the level, and running bad FOREVER doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong. I know you know all this, but everytime I move up I worry all over again.

ok, so...my turn now!

Damn, well, if I keep running the way I have been the past couple days (0/2/1/13 with more bubble finishes than I'd like to admit), I'll be passing you up shortly. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Way to go, Lori, you the man! I mean the woman! I mean the young woman!

Btw when that guy completed with that turned out to be Td9d, why didn't you pop him all-in preflop with your KdQc?

Hey Lori, could you possibly email me some HHs, I suspect you're picking your move very well and possibly running well

I believe he may have folded every single small blind all tourney, certainly that was what I thought at the time.
I didn't like the smell of it /images/graemlins/blush.gif

and possibly running well

No possibly about it, I'm running stupidly well. I'm not outdrawing any more people than usual but I'm just hardly losing when I'm in front, which is clearly ridiculous.

I'm thinking of a word that starts with para-....parade? parappa? paratrooper? paraticularly?....hmmmm....it's on the tip of my tongue but I can't quite taste it....

awww i'm just messing with you...i started watching like 5 hands earlier so i clearly have no idea what i'm talking about as far as player context goes...

oh one more question though....why did you just limp in with the KTo? did you not think you could narrow the field, or was it an attempt to do just that by making people think you had a monster? fooled me, I put you on AA-QQ.

I thought that the chance of me getting back into the tourney in one big hit was just about worth it with the number of calls before me.
I was hoping that the short EP guy would manage to move some people out on the flop for me, or maybe someone behind me would push preflop with 99 or AQ or something to give me some value.

I didn't think raising another 180 was going to help me.

Very nice run Lorinda, I hope to see you at the 215s soon (for your benefit, not mind /images/graemlins/wink.gif.

So after I returned from Vegas on Wednesday, I decided to end my 2 month break from SNGs. I had just been playing almost all cash games and multis up until then.

I jumped right back in the 215s and after my first 117 tournaments over 3 days my stats are as follows:

1st 17.1% 20
2nd 12.8% 15
3rd 12.0% 14
4th 11.1% 13
5th 6.0% 7
6th 12.0% 14
7th 7.7% 9
8th 7.7% 9
9th 11.1% 13
10th 2.6% 3

+$9445

41.9% ITM
37.5% ROI
4.66 Avg Finish

I hope I can keep this up /images/graemlins/wink.gif Although, I too would be happy with 18.6% over my next 400 (or 400000 for that matter). My goal is to play 1k total 215s before I go back to vegas on June 5th.

Come on. Is everyone here playing the 50s? Dammit.

I need Irie to come back and tell everyone that the place to play is the 33 Stud Hi/Lo.

If that's the way you are going to be, I'm offically playing the 109s now.

Please let me know when you all move up, so I can move back down.

Wow, I too am on a crazy run like you ImsoLucky. When I moved up my goal/hope was a double digit roi in the 215s as I had no idea what to expect.

200+15's

ROI 32.9%

ITM 40.4%

Total Tourneys 161

Total entries $34,615.00
Total prizes $46,000.00
SNG Profit $11,385.00

1st 16.1% 26
2nd 13.7% 22
3rd 10.6% 17
4th 8.1% 13
5th 10.6% 17
6th 8.7% 14
7th 11.2% 18
8th 12.4% 20
9th 6.2% 10
10th 2.5% 4

Hopefully I can come close to keeping this up, I'm gonna start 8 tabling as soon as my stuff comes, then you 50ers really better watch out for a week or so when I learn how to not kill myself while 8 tabling. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Apathy- how long do you plan on budgeting to 8 tabling? I'm struggling with it and am going to simply play the $33s for a while and get back to multitabling some time.

No specific time, as soon as I'm comfortable I'll go back to the 215s. My steps will be something like.. 8 55s, 8 109s, 8 109s while posting/AIM/MSN, 8 215s.

This is precisely the post I want to see when I'm running bad.

Hearing about all these losing streaks, especially when I'm on one of my own, was leading me to think the games got unbeatable all the sudden.

Well done Lorinda..

ya i feel like the 55s have been really 2+2 free for the most part up until the past couple weeks. I haven't really been playin cuz of finals and friends graduatin but now everybodys playin the 55s. I guess i needed this kind of inspiration to move up.
