hi, im relatively new to poker and was just curious as to the approximate odds of 2 people holding the same suited hole cards eg (6h7h) (KhJh) and on any given random hand ..BOTH making a flush.?.what are the odds of TWO players MAKING flush?..hope you can help..regards

Probability someone will have 2 suited cards of the same suit as you. Ill assume that you have 23h so that any other combination of suited hearts will be higher than yours.

8 * C(11,2)/C(50,2) ~ 35.9%

Probability of a flush coming on the board
C(9,2)* C(39,2) / C(48,2) * 100 ~ 3.6 %

I think that should be right, im not positive whether or not you should multiply the answers together, but maybe someone else can check my math.

probably also depends on how many people are in the game
