How would you play this hand?

I will have to spell it out because Full Tilt will not download hands.

$10/$1 NL tourney blinds: 20/40

No reads at the moment other than UTG has been involved in lots of hands, but his shown cards are reasonable.

SB: t1605
BB: t2155
Hero: t1450
UTG: t1710
UTG+1: t2295
MP: t1440
C/O: t1010
B: t1835

Hero dealt TdTc

SB: post t20
BB: post t40
Hero: raises 3 X BB (t120)
UTG: pushes t1710

all fold to Hero.

Hero???

I would lean strongly towards folding.

Tad confusing, but it looks like you're UTG and the pusher is UTG+1. By raising in UTG, you're showing some strength, and for him to push over the top should mean considerable strength. You should fold here. It's early on and you're likely looking at overcards at best.

This is a perfect time for the other guy to push with AA KK. This seems like a decent fold unless the guy is a total maniac and you're absolutely certain he's pushing with something like 78o.

I'm not a big fan of raising big with TT this early in the tournament. I feel like it's sticking yourself out too far.

Yeah. You might win, but you're very likely to have a better situation to risk all your chips later.

personally I'm not a big fan of your raise. and then with or without your raise this is an easy fold.

Personally I think that raising 10s utg here is horrible. You are going to push out all of the weak hands that want to limp in and either take down 60 chips or be out of position against 2 overcards or dominated by a bigger pocket. I think that raising 10s here almost reduces their strength to 2s. You ended up in a tricky situation here, but how could you not if you didn't manage to take down the blinds?

The reraiser didn't just raise you. He raised 6 other people who could each have AA or KK. With 5:4 odds, I might call with QQ or AK, but I'd fold JJ or TT quickly.

It's fine to limp with TT in EP. It's also fine to raise. If you do raise, you may want to raise more than 3 BB. See Harrington on Hold'em for a more detailed explanation.
