5 in a row is the best I can sport. Since I haven't played more than 200 sngs at any level on my way up to the 109s I can assure anyone interested that the roi-jump of such a streak really makes one realize how small and ridiculous a sample size of hundred or two hundred is.

This is so true -- I can't beat your 5, but I cashed in 9 of my first 12 at the 27s and it did some insane things to my ROI.

I had just started trying the 5+.5s at Stars and was amazed at my newfound poker abilities. Needless to say, the OOTMs the next day knocked me right back down to "normal".

Right after I started using Aleo's spreadsheet I hopped on a turbo heater, and moneyed in ten of twelve, including seven in a row:

1st - 7
2nd - 1
3rd - 2

It took a while to get my ROI back on Aleo's graph.

my best ITM run was.. 12 out of 13. however, there were a WHOLE bunch of thirds, so it wasnt all that great. 3/1/8/1. this was on CINCO DE MAYO.. in the 55s. 55s are easy, why i ever play anything else is beyond me. holla

My point? None, really. ITM or OTM streaks are kinda like pushing preflop in order to see all five board cards. It doesn't matter what order they come in, all that matters is the end result. Only tourney ITM and OTM never really end.

7 firsts though it crazy - If you are 15% for 1st, it should happen every 585,276 games.

Five in a row is the most I've gotten. I've also had some good gappers -- gotten 7 out of 8, 8 out of 11, 6 out of 7, and 11 out of 15. And 65.21% ITM out of 23 games. And of course the one day where I won every game -- good thing I only played five!

Personally I've never had a set of 6 or 8 where I've finished ITM, so I guess my streak has to be around 3-5.

I only cash about 38%, not 40%

Have only played about 6-7000, and at the time, 7 1sts in a row was 1 in 3.8 million

To be fair, some of the streaks are a little artificial since I 4-table. If I get knocked out in lvl 1 or 2, I start another. But once past lvl 2, I let the tournies play themselves out before I start another batch. This tends to introduce a bit of clustering into my results (so that streak of 13 becomes more like a streak of 11 statistically).
