Big frigging whoop. The Red Sox lead by 5.5 games, Yanks are still under .500, and they've started this run against only under-.500 teams. Cookie.

You're a fool.

I told everyone this long before you did.

I even made prop bets with people on the Yankees.

So what now, Mr Johnny come lately?

Why didn't you include the win streak statistic?

Baltimore L2
Boston L1
Toronto L1
New York W6
Tampa Bay W1

I'm including the Yankees win tonight(it's almost a lock), and the Red Sox being down by 6 in the late innings.

Games aren't final yet. They may look certain, but it's best not to be arrogant.

Gonzalez and Halama are awful.

Schilling is not even close to being back, and Wells is not exactly going to have a stellar year. I wouldn't be too confident in Wade Miller, either.

Your rotation is worse than ours right now.

Regardless. If it was so certain, they'd just forfeit, no?

As for Miller, you obviously haven't seen him pitch. Anyways, how does it feel that we have half a rotation and are still 5.5 ahead?

The Yankees were 9 games back a week ago.

And it's about to be 4.5 games.

You're pretty good at making up facts. You'd be a good fit for some of the rags out in NY. In the past week:

NYY 6-0 (including tonight)
BOS 4-2 (including tonight)

So I'm certain that the Boston lead over NY was 9 games. And not 6.5. Which is close to 9. Douche.

I'm talking about the Baltimore lead over the Yankees.

Hey these "crappy" Mariners managed to get 12 runs off the Red Sox. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif Either the Mariners are better than people on here think, or the Sox are worse than you think.

Dead,
basically all you said was that the Yankees were playing alot of quality (going to finish the year close to .500 or better) teams at the beginning and that was part of the reason they were doing poorly, therefore their downturn wasn't a big deal, and after all they will be playing a lot of below .500 teams soon. And now you keep ranting about how great the yankess are doing because they are on a good win streak, even though it is only against teams that you yourself proclaimed as subpar. If it's no big deal when the yankees lose to good teams, why is it such a big deal when the yankees win against bad teams. have some consistency, and stop predicting sweeps.

And as for tonight's game against seattle, who did the Sox have as their starter? i don't know either, but he obviously sucks. Can't wait untill Schilling and Wells get off the DL, because then the Sox will have a decent, but not great rotation again.

The last time they won 6 straight was last October. Remember what happened then?
