If I'm logged in and observing a Party table should the HH automatically download to my computer (it doesnt' seem to be, but I see no other way to do such data mining)? Does Stars do this as well, Party skins?

You have to configure PT to import observed HH files.

They are not saved on your computer (I dont think)

But... you would get better respsones in the software forum.

From what I know, only Party skins allow you to import observed hands, but I'm not positive.

To do this you go to "Auto-Import Party & Affiliate Hand Histories Stored on Your Hard Drive" in PT. Set it up there, and check the box for "importing observed hands."

Make sure, in Party, that HHs are being saved on your computer.

The HH's are saved in the main PP directory on your HD not in the Hand History folder.

Ahhh. There you go shant. Will PT pick up the ".hhf" files OK? Also, does Stars pick up the observed ones or just ones played in?

I'm not sure about Stars, I've never played there, but PT picks up those .hhf files.

Stars does not save hand histories for observed hands. It only writes to the hard drive hands where you are dealt in.
