According to the writers of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Buck Bokai, a shortstop for the London Kings will break Joe Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak in 2026. Bokai will be considered the greatest baseball player of all time.

Apollo Creed was a better athlete than Rocky. Rocky was a better boxer (obviously) but that doesn't mean he was a better athlete.

Up until he met Ivan Drago anyways...

Henry Wiggen, or Ray Kinsella (from the novel Shoeless Joe), or the combination of Fred Exley and Frank Gifford (well, they're real people, but ya gotta read A Fan's Notes).

That's Ebby Calvin LaLoosh to you pal /forums/images/icons/grin.gif What a great movie. I'd say my favorite fictional athlete is either Roy Hobbs or Crash Davis.

Jimmy Chitwood. As much pure talent as Roy Hobbs without the flawed past.

Of course, I'd have to give an honorable mention to Jesus Quintana... "That creep can roll."

the curious case of sidd finch vs. Roy Hobbs and Wonderboy. what a matchup.
Neither can hold a candle to the feats I've accomplished in my dreamlike state just before falling asleep, though.
