Admittedly I have not seen this fight, since I don't have Showtime, but is it better than round nine of Gatti-Ward One? That is the best round I've seen.

I think round 9 of Gatti-Ward might be slightly better, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who disagreed.

The fight as a whole was better than Gatti-Ward I, and I would argue about that.

wow...i guess this is the right kind of argument to have, because they're both incredible...but i'm still partial to ward/gatti. maybe because of the rocky factor (i made that up)...but what i mean is - ward/gatti PUNISHED each other. it was almost like defense got thrown out the window.

this fight may be more technically sound...but i still prefer ward/gatti I...and maybe ward/gatti II to this fight.

none-the-less - these fights need to happen more often, and the sport we all love would be resurrected.

Winky Wright looked like Darth F'n Vader...seriously, this fight wasn't even close - ever.

I thought wright would probably win going in...but by the 4th or 5th round i was actually rooting for tito out of shame for the poor guy. I can't wait for Wright/Hopkins - should be amazing if Wright shows up the way he did last night.

I disconnected because I was getting slowdowns on my DSL from 2+2 ads trying to load, which auto-started my dial-up and froze it. So then things started getting really slow, and I CTRL ALT DEL'd my dial-up sign in, which had slowed my download to near nothing.

When I tried to restart the torrent, I got messsages saying Tracker rejected, unrecognized host. And, go to the site to sign-up or login.

Where the heck on the site can you even log in? Signing up

Am using the burst! client, and am stuck with only a partial file.

Wright was superb. Not a fighter for the masses, but damn beautiful from a purist's perspective. He must have one of the best jabs in the world and his defence is so tight. It will be very difficult to beat him. Wright v. Hopkins won't be a rollercoaster but I think it is a 50/50 fight.

You think that'll happen? I can't imagine someone putting that together given the lack of entertainment value for the masses. Two counterpunchers would be a pretty slow fight, but as you said very interesting from a purist's standpoint...two nearly flawless guy from a technical and tactical perspective.
