My wondering is this....If you are just calling tell me why. If you are folding tell me why. If you are raising all-in please tell me why. Any other comments are good too. Thanks

I am not sure but I think either pushing or folding is almost correct here. There is no calling. Being the short stack he might be pushing any ace. Whats your read on him?. I think thats the only way to figure out your best option. If he has been tight fold and if he has been loose push.

I felt like he had made some questionable plays the whole tourney but he did tighten up some as it got further along in the tourney.

He had tried min raising a few times to steal. Worked a few times but when others saw the flop and he folded if someone bet into him.

With the structure of PS SNGs I feel very comfortable with 13BB here and pass this situation up a lot as long as UTG isn't LAG.

It seems that on basis of equity, this would be an even money call, if you figured even odds on the hand. That is 50% chances of winning the pot.

That would indicate a easy fold here. Add the factor that one of the big stacks might wake up with a monster, makes it easier to fold.

I agree with ripped, push or fold.

I fold. Two live hands behind me, both having me covered and a so-so hand. Given the stack sizes, Calling and winning doesn't make me a favorite for first, so getting ITM is first priority.

This is actually pretty close, and as usual is completely dependant on what UTG will push here. ICM tells us you need to win a little over half the time for it to be +$EV.

So decide what you think his range is and decide if AJ is a going to usually be a favorite. Most of the time you can go ahead and fold, but if he is on the laggy side, you can probably go ahead and push over the top.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Just for reference AJ has around 50% equity vs the following range { AA-44, AKs-A6s, KQs-KTs, QJs, AKo-A9o, KQo-KJo }

equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)

Hand 1: 50.1663 % [ 00.46 00.04 ] { AA-44, AKs-A6s, KQs-KTs, QJs, AKo-A9o, KQo-KJo }
Hand 2: 49.8337 % [ 00.46 00.04 ] { AJo }
