Yeah, I heard that some higher limit 2+2 players (SNG players I believe) play there for practice and to help find leaks.

I beg to differ! These guys are not your standard 2+2 tightasses except in the 1-2 and 2-4 games. 3-6 varies.

Higher limits (2-4NL , 10-20NL and sometimes the 10-20 and 1-2 NL ) are often super wild and crazy games. They are more than half backgammon players and everyone thinks that they should play like Gus.

The bonus makes this site a cash machine.

The site has great games cause alot of the backgammon players come try poker and arent very good. I highly suggest you start playing there.

If you like $18 pot averages for $3-6 full LHE games then hop on it /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Best thing to do at GamesGrid is to play backgammon not poker. They have the best bg software online-alot of fun.For a small annual membership you can play against their bots.I havent even paid a membership and it's still easy to get decent matchs. If I play any more I'm going to pay the anuual dues to start playing the bots.Paul Magriel has a bg bot on GG.I made a significant amount of $$ playing bg all thru college. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I havent played the games there.. I joined up deposited a G-note then cashed out like 3 days later once they changed their initial bonus/prop scheme.

I check in about 2-3 times a week and I see the same thing 2.50-3.50 bb pot averages in $3-6 LHE. I looked last nite and it looks like the room is doing better than I thought after they changed stuff around..alot of games but all pretty crappy pot averages..can't help you sorry..

I've found the games there to be mostly filled with rocks.

There's def. greener pastures.

In case anyone does not know, it is www.gamesgrid.com (http://www.gamesgrid.com)

First of all, I've played a ton at GamesGrid, and quite frankly, I am dissapointed that they have NOT placed one banner on this page to draw new clientele. Its not expensive, freaking affiliates pay for banners to their links.

Second of all, either the OP is truly brain dead or his post was just a "dumb question" to bump the thread.

"How do I get to Games Grid"? Give me a friggin break. Try www.gamesgrid.com (http://www.gamesgrid.com) - ok, maybe thats expecting too much from a noob. Type "games grid" into Google. No phucking shiit.. "Games Grid Poker" is the first friggin hit!!!!

The poster was either an complete and total idiot and could benefit from a tutorial on search engines, or it was an obvious ploy to extend this thread.

Hi,

FWIW, GamesGrid has been in talks with 2+2 for advertising spots; the first attempt was thwarted as GG was told they were sold out, and currently GamesGrid's CEO is working again to place advertising on 2+2 (as well as other places).

Hope to see you on the grid sometime,

It sucks that they are sold out, and I hope you can have some banners up here soon....

In the meantime, I think it would be in the Grids best interest to strike a deal up with Poker Source Online and get some ads and deals going with them... hundreds of players seem to flock to all thier promotions (although mostly .5/1 and 1/2 players) ... and some banners on recpoker.com could draw in a few more grinders.... I like the VFP (I used to like it better /images/graemlins/mad.gif) and want to see GamesGrid grow....

And, can anyone explain why Poo Mountain still runs a banner? Aren't they out of business?

I play there 10 to 15 hours per week which is about all I play. Sometimes hard to find a good game but you cannot beat the bonus anywhere

Before I learned how to play poker, I played backgammon on www.truemoneygames.com. (http://www.truemoneygames.com.) I don't know about games grid, but if it's anything like TMG, the backgammon players are hella tight on the poker table. TMG started offering poker which is how I learned to play. When a friend suggested I sign up for Empire, I couldn't believe how loose the games were. Then, when I played live in AC for the first time, I was shocked, and pleased really, to know what a "very loose" game was all about.

I'd stay away from backgammon players on the poker table. But I would definitely learn to play backgammon. It's a great gambling game just like hold 'em poker. And you don't have to sit around waiting for a hand.

I've checked their promotions pages. Can anyone tell me if and when the big sign up bonus expires? That is to say, how long do you have to clear it.

Also, it says you must play 'x'/hrs per week for their VFP club or whatever it is called... which seems doable...but I'm about to go on a week long vacation in two weeks. Do I loose my VFP status...permanent or temporary?

I think we are dealing with a retard.

Retard tell #1.
Only a retard quotes his own post.

Retard tell #2.
The OP did not ask for a link but it is typical of a retard to misread the posts because their reading compreheison is compromised.

Retard tell #3.
Retards have low self esteem and jump at the opportunity to bash another poster in order to make themselves feel superior.

I probably missed a few tells but three is enough for a pretty solid read.

You have an entire year (365 days) after your initial deposit before the bonus money expires. See Details: B (http://www.gamesgrid.com/promotions_1000bonus.html)

You don't lose VFP status if you miss the 10 hour mark, you just don't earn the payment that week.

Have a great vacation, I just got back from Puerto Rico /images/graemlins/smile.gif (Check my profile for a link to my blog & pics.)
