experience with express checks from party

has any used a fedex/dhl checks from party? If so about long do they take to arrive, is the 2-3 day estimate correct, and are there any problems with banks accepting or holding them?

I've gotten checks from Absolute. They're from a foreign bank so they don't cash immediately, instead, they hold money in the account until it clears, a week or so. They weren't PP or express, but i hope this info helps a little.
