Sklansky wrote an article about bluff-raising from the BB. He says that the optimal conditions for this play are as follows: 1) no fish at the table; 2) everyone has around 50 BB (thus, at stars, this could only happed during levels 1 and 2); 3) 3 to five limpers. The primary reason for doing this is to camoflague your hand when you do the same thing with a monster. He estimates that you will win the pot uncontested 70% of the time.

Does anyone ever try this in low lomit SNG's? It seems to me that the rationale for it just isn't there. There just isn't that much of a need to camoflague your hands, and your fold equity is going to be much lower than 70%.
