i check raised because people were folding to my bets alot, which is great when im continuation betting but i figured a check would give me more.

and i did fold

would anyone call here? anyone? if so why. and do most of you disagree with the check-raise?

You'd have to be awfully unlucky 6 handed for him to have an 8. The guy is the shortest stack there, at this level I say he's looking to take down a few dollars with his KQ or push you off your kicker with his Kx. It just doesn't make sense to me, if he had trips on this board he'd milk the K you're representing. Some observations from previous hands would help.

At $25NL I would call this, if only out of curiosity. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Check raise is bad I think, imo you want to represent pp or K-weak and hope someone has a hand. I'd lead out a feeler of $.5-$1

normally i'd call here too at any 25 table on party poker. i dunno, iguess the call then push phreaked me out especially against a guy that hadn't made any notible big moves. but hey ,you can't catch everything 4 tabling and reading 2+2 forums =p.

Hero's check-raise is obviously an 8 (this is the problem with the check-raise), so Villain's re-raise of the check-raise is saying "i can beat your trips". the question then is whether you believe him or not, but i think that the worst hand you'll see is A8.

I disagree that Villain would see the check raise as an obvious 8 (though in this case, it is an 8). $25NL players just aren't considering someone else's hand most of the time.

Even if they did, it could easily be seen as a K or a steal. This is 6 handed after all. I say you're ahead often enough to call this.

[/ QUOTE ] Having said that I'd think about folding, though I'm not sure it's correct.

villians call, reraise screams of an eight here. I would fold given the read you have on him. However, at the 25NL on Party this is hard to lay down. I think you're ahead 15% of the time and will split about 25% of the time. Those are rough estimates.
