It's been happening to me a lot on my lap top, at all the wrong times!

I had this problem, complained to my internet provider, etc., etc. and couldn't figure it out. It also happened with PokerStars. I finally shut down everything I had running except for my Poker client and all was fine. I started adding back applications, and as soon as I cranked up MS AntiSpyware, it started happening again. Now I just shut it off before playing -- I don't like having to do that, but it beats getting disconnected.

As always, YMMV, but I thought I'd share.

Yeah I toyed with some stuff and it started working again. No hiccups in a few minutes so I think I am ok.

Are you having some memory issues maybe? I have MS anitspyware (which, btw helped SAVE my computer - great program!) running at all times and have never had any connectivity issues.

I find that cygwin will often cause partypoker to hang. I just shut cygwin down when it does that.
