L&O is the [censored].

Seinfeld rocks my world.

Cheers was awesome, and although Frasier has its moments, it really can't compare to anything else.

English. I didn't even bother watching any of the US version. It could never compare.

Good lad. The correct answer to this poll though is Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Why is anything close to Seinfeld?

Because The Office.

The only reason I said Frasier wasn't out of its league is because it is clearly in the same league as MASH.

L&O is awesome. Can't get enough of the ex Oz characters. I randomly think that Keller is gonna run on screen with Schillinger and break somebodies arms and legs. Seinfeld destroys all of the sitcoms in there. Still ended on a high note with the funny episodes, while The Simpsons suck. Frasier is crappy, too.

If you've seen every episode, then I can accept that, but I think a lot of people have not given it a fair chance.

I certainly can't say it's brilliant or original or anything like that, but definitely engaging and well-done. Last nights episode was intense.

No. The correct answer is Seinfeld. There has been no more pervasive sitcom in the history of television. The Office is highly overrated (both versions).

Drama = The West Wing.

Why is anything close to Seinfeld?

because seinfeld was overrated tripe. it started out funny, but quickly became a caricature of itself.
omissions from the list:
Married with Children
Taxi

You just compared Married With Children to Seinfeld.

You're done posting for the day.

Naw, I'm sick and tired of everyone slobbering seinfeld's knob. Married knew what type of show it was and didn't get caught up in the hype. seinfeld, by the end, was way overdone and full of itself.

I love both shows, Married is great for late night t.v. and seinfeld is a classic. As for drama.....

The best drama cannot be Law & Order. It is a formula show, where the situation always resolves itself within the hour. I believe you have to have a dynamic (as opposed to static) show as the best. I'd say Lost is the best thing on TV right now; like most popular things, lots of people hate on it because it is so popular right now. You can make a good argument for West Wing.

Currently it is The Daily Show. Ever I would have to say Simpsons or Seinfeld.
