Edit: Villain is 65/7 with .35 postflop AF over ~45 hands.

<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB

I planned on calling down the river, but as the board paired I lead just in case it scares him into not betting his JJ/QQ

I definitely wouldn't bet the river. Given the read, I'd also probably check-call the turn.

I don't think I would be betting on the river given how passive villain usually is, and how much action he's given for this hand. I'd put him on trips or As

edit: well because I've found that even super loose players hit hands sometimes, and I'm finding myself tightening up a little bit against their aggression

3-bet the river. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

No really, don't bet the river in spots like this unless you plan on 3-betting. Bet-calling is a horrible mistake that lots of good players have advocated doing on this forum on the past, and it is so easy to see why it is a mistake that it just makes you shake your head everytime you see it mentioned.

I should not have read the replies. But here is what I would do even though it is clearly wrong.

I would check/call the flop looking to check raise the turn.
I bet out on the river if he does not 3 bet my turn raise.
I check/call if he 3bet the turn. If he did not 3 bet I bet/call the river.

If you lose this hand I am guessing he had TT.

i go into check/call mode on the turn and river i think. he's not folding and i think it beats KK most of the time.
