party 30. Blinds 50/100. I have 850, SB has 4k, BB has 400. Folded to me with 22 on the button. I fold.

at first I asked myself what you were doing here, you have to move in. But then I thought about it and I agree. The BB will make a desperate call a lot of the time. And that means you are flipping for half your stack. Good fold.

nope, its still a push. With the SB calling w AQ+, 10+ and BB calling with any A,K,pocket, or Q its not even marginal

I just busted out of my last $11 SnG with 22 in the SB when it was folded around to me with 5 players left. I pushed into the BB who had me covered very slightly and he called pretty quickly with 99. I finished 4th. I still don't know if it was the correct move (other 3 stacks were pretty even and not really shortstacked) but I don't think it was horrible.

first of all, SB's calling range is AQ+, 10+?

hmm...

If you are saying that the BB calls with close to anything, how could you possibly think this was a good place to push??? You want to flip for half your stack? That's what it is, a flip. He's not going to fold anything but the absolute worst hands...he's getting basically 2 to 1, 300 to call and 550 in there. It's a fold cause there is no chance of a steal, and what little chance there is of a steal, it would clearly be covered by the chance the SB picks up a hand.
Fold and save your dough.

I seem to have indecisions about this move aswel but defo i'm folding, if I was the BB I'd be calling pretty much anything. so you really are risking half of your stack on a coin flip at best! would be interseted to see what the more seasoned 2+2ers have to say though.
