Meh. I don't really like how you played this hand, but its 3 handed so standard poker doesn't really apply. I'd say don't draw to a flush on a paired board, but again you're 3 handed. Either way, how does it feel to get your money in drawing dead?

I hate the post flop play. The flop bet isn't terrible, but you are enticing a call if the other player thinks you may not have anything. In fact, if I'm the other player and I have any two, I will often call and simply bet out 3/4 the pot on the turn if it is a blank. The turn raise by you is really bad, either semi-bluff with your flush draw and overs or just call and hope to hit. Calling the river is terrible.

I'd check the flop. Save your continuation bets for when they're believable. I like the turn raise. Don't like the river.

you called yourself on the river?

Check your posts before posting them and...

Exhibit caution when drawing to a runner-runner flush on a paired board facing resistance.

I figured no one would have called the preflop raise with a 3/2, 3/8, or a 3/6. Guess I was wrong.

Thanks for the feedback. It's serving me well.

Well, he didn't call with any of those hands. Also, 66 and 88 are real possiblities here -- and of course 22 -- as well as the much more unlikely ace high flush.

i dont like the mini raise on the turn. its a pointless bet.

how did the river action work out? did he just ranomdly push it all? what happened?

since this is 3 handed anything goes, so your hand is very strong, even though the board is paired.

This hand (like most at 6 max) is entirely read dependant.

He cold called both a flop bet - which was an entirely meaningless continuation bet, and a turn min-raise.

Is SB the type to do this to set up a bluff on the river? If yes, that river card is awful...not much you can do.

If not, what did you think villian had to cold call a PF raise, a flop bet, and a turn min raise.

You've shown tremedous strength, but are getting called throughout. (I probably lose my money here as well 3 handed, but the range of hands a reasonable villain pushes that river with is small)

The turn is disgusting. Make a raise of 4-5x his bet, call, or fold.

As for the river, does he typically make bluffs of 3x the size of the pot? If so, a call is in order. If not, it's really tough b/c he could easily be overvaluing trip 3s and make nothing of the backdoor flush on the board.

Tough spot but without a read that this guy makes ridiculous overbets with mediocre hands I'm folding.

I really can't stand that turn minraise though. Wow thats horrible.

Apologies to the OP. I just thought these two sentences were really funny. It's good to have a physical aversion to bad poker.
