Nothing wrong with the turn check. Bet about 1/2 the pot on the river here to deter a bluff. He probably has a pair of tens or a busted draw like QJ. If he has a K then he would bet the turn.

If I'm villain I'm checking the turn to-
a)keep the pot small with only Top Pair
b)induce a bet on the river from a hand that I have beat (i.e. AQ, AJ, QQ, JJ, AT, etc.)

Check your posts before posting them the converter butchered this.

this is 25nl 6max? If so why are you raising 15xBB preflop? Mixing it up?

Rest looks ok to me really. I don't see much point in betting the river.

You want to induce a bluff here, not deter it.

If I'm the villian no way am I checking the turn there are too many free draws here to give a free card.

You're a better player than me then. If I'm bluffed on the river with nought but an underpair I have a very difficult choice to make. I'd much rather not have to make that choice.

If you think that's the case, bet the turn. And I think that's the case. Bet the turn. I go half pot-ish. With more than one overcard, I'm c/f-ing but with only the K, I am almost always betting the turn here.

A 1/2 pot bet after that turn check shows a lot of weakness and can by a good player be reraised so that Hero can't call if he don't have a really good read. Better to check river too and leave Villian in the dark how much you are prepared to call. If he is a tricky player he can make a big bet with a good hand trying to make you think he is bluffing, but from my experience at NL25 you should in most cases call a small bet (he can have a ten) and a big bet, but if he makes a decent value bet then you maybe should fold.

He was maybe on a draw here, so a turn bet would prob have made you more money. But that's, of course, hard to know after the turn if he have a king or not....
