Ok, we're at the nanolimits and I just sat down a few hands ago. No real reads but overall looks like a pretty weak table.

I wouldn't have capped preflop. The rest looks alright, except for the river...

I'd bet that river and call if check/raised. I'm not willing to give credit for a flush just yet.

Does anyone else think this if funny?

All-in for 2 cents -- gotta love the nanos...

I don't like the PF cap. Flop and turn are good. I'd bet the river even though villain could hold the flush.

The river is the most obvious bet if there ever was one.

Edit: Oops, didn't see the flush. Still it's an easy bet

IMHO

This makes little sense. Villain C/Red us on a 3-flush turn card. On the river, hero does improve...but not enough to beat a flush that we conceded to by not 3-betting the turn.

I check through the river as well.

If he had the flush, why would he check the river as well?

i dont give this guy credit for anything. if he checks the river its an easy bet and call if raised.

If he had the flush would he c/r twice? I think he's more likely to have a J or two pair here.

I just call the preflop 3bet and defintely bet the river, call a check-raise.

Sure, you may be up against a flush or a straight or something. But would villain slowplay a flopped set like this? How about 2 pair? There are many other hands than a flush that villain could have, especially in nano-limits. This is an easy river bet.

it seems no one really likes the cap preflop, so that was a mistake there. Now should I 3-bet the flop to see where I stand, or just call? Then on the river bet it or check to showdown? Results to come later.

At stakes this low, Ive seen the turn + river check raise done many times. Since it worked the first time, many low stakes players believe it will work again.

Well that is certainly a peculiar line your opponent took - check raising the turn and then checking the river. You have to bet here though. Your hand is too strong not too.
Curious to see what he had though. Maybe a pair and a 4-flush on the turn.

I bet the river. Too often you are up against A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif J
or an overpair with one /images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

*I don't know how to play nanos.*

I would fold the turn to the cr against an unknown. Since you called the turn, bet the river when it's checked to you.

*** SHOW DOWN ***

skiier04: shows [Th Td] (three of a kind, Tens)
skiier04 collected $0.28 from side pot

Yea, obviously I shoulda bet the river, but if he has any brains in him he woulda folded. Nevertheless though look at his hand!!! Gotta love the nano's.

This is exactly why you bet. This time he had nothing (but still may have called nonetheless), but many other times they'll have weak pairs, or even call with busted draws. I've seen it, we've all seen it. Get in the habit of making these river bets. They will be a huge improvement to your game.
