it's a complicated formula that includes time on 2+2, # of posts, buy in / importance of said tournament, closeness to final table, "badness" of beat among other factors...

at any rate, any bad beat posts with hand history and smiley's only will automatically trigger this response.

You must have meant an ALMOST bad beat. You ALMOST put a really bad beat on this guy who out-flopped you. But luckily, the best hand on the flop ended up winning anyway.
