1) I'm not sure about this. What's the point of this overbet? If he has a flush, he's not folding and you're handing him your stack. I would think you are most likely getting the least amount if you're ahead (because what's he going to call that bet with) or losing the most if you're crushed.

2) I hope it worked out. But I have to ask... what do you put the villain on? His leading into you on the turn is suspicious. If he's a calling station/fish with such low aggression factors, what is he going to do this with? This smells like someone who just hit something. I'm curious, to hear the results of this. There's an unlikely straight, 4 possible sets and a few 2 pair possibilities. Certainly possibilities for someone playing 62% of all hands.

That's a tougher one.

First hand he showed pocket 9s. Hit a set

Second hand he showed QTo!!!

So I got back in the second hand what I gave away in the first

The funny thing is... on the first hand, I think you overplayed your hand and he benefited from it.

The second hand, he made the same mistake.

In each case, though... I don't know why you're betting your whole stack with just a pair. I would think more often then not, you're going to scare away people who you are beating and get called by anyone who has you beat.
