One of my classes talked about how women, in online forums, "lurk." They will read and not post because male counterparts will "bomb" or "flame" them and ridicule them because of social deviation from a quiet woman mold. I was just curious if this was true here as well, because most of the posters are men. Although poker is not a gender exclusive game, it has been a traditionally male dominated one. Thanks!

i read somewhere that the average online pleyer is a middleage bored housewife (methinks they could be doing better things) so this is wierd.

probably. I didn't see it, but I hardly doubt that this is an uncommon question asked here.

I'm sorry if I was incensitive by forgetting to recognize homosexuals, intersexed, and transexed individuals. I will flog myself for this indescretion. Have a nice day.

Doesn't surprise me. I went into borders to pick up Harrington's book and there were 2 soccer moms looking at books there, I was the only male in that section. So either they were giving gifts or they played...
