Ok, I've been reading posts lots in the last couple months and have been prodding myself to jump in and reply. I just hope my first attempt is not too moronic.
I misread the first time. I think raise turn trying for a free showdown. Fold to a 3-bet.

I raise this turn because this is often a "i picked up a pair!" move. Or, he puts you an the flush draw and doesn't want to give you a free card with a Q, or possibly a weaker K.

From TAGs and more aggressive players this is a bet-3bet line many times. However, that doesn't appear to be the case here given villains stats.
